"Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings." William Arthur Ward
This week on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, we are set to have temps in the 45-65 range - can't ask for much better in December in the Rockies! I love living in Colorado - have been here for 38 years and am always astounded by the fantastic weather and gorgeous surroundings. Makes each sunny day (and there are lots of them) such a pleasure! ~chris
As with mudmaven, I too, live on the Front Range-it will be nice not to do outdoor decorating in the snow! And we are still have migrants fly through the bird feeder with this nice weather.
It was warm here today too. Jack and I enjoyed a long walk this morning and played outside after naptime. Then I raked the yard when he left! I love it when it's in the 70s. Not too hot and not too cold. Perfect weather to be thankful for!
I live in FL, so I wear flip flops year round and don't pay much attention to weather, except for this time of year. I admit to being a little bipolar in Dec, as somehow, flip flips just seem odd to me now. Love the decorations, but with no snow, this too is a bit strange. But it IS nice to make plans and know they won't be canceled because of snow and ice :)Thankful for so many other things today!!
Thanks so much for taking time to comment!
