Hot beverages are so comforting, and this time of year, it's so easy to get a festive pick-me-up of a peppermint mocha...not too pepperminty, not too sweet, just right.
What is your hot beverage of choice to transform your common days?
I love a lot of hot drinks - apple cider (from a jug), Christmas tea or Christmas blend coffee, but my fave has to be a caramel brûlé latte (and it has to have a cranberry bliss bar beside it!)
Susan, I love peppermint mochas, but I am a decaf-single-shot- single-pump of mocha girl. Of course, I've been known to enjoy a hot chocolate and peppermint schnappes too. Give that a try some evening!
My Brother-in-law had some hot mulled wine one Christmas. It's been my favorite hot holiday drink since then. I haven't seen the kits since that Christmas. I wouldn't mind having some again.
A peppermint mocha has been my drink of choice for several years now, so much so that I drink it all year round. Starbucks has one that I quite like but last week I had the Bridgehead version which is leans more the coffee side than the chocolate side and that was a pleasant change.
I am looking forward to having cider simmering on the stove.
I'm so boring....it's coffee, coffee, coffee!
ReplyDeleteCoffee, mostly-but a blueberry tea some afternoons, and peppermint tea on others, really perks me right up!
ReplyDeleteHot Chocolate ;-)
