I breathe in and out,
over and over without
a thought. Glorious!
Just think of all that our bodies do without our conscious direction. Our hearts beat, blood flows, muscles keep us sitting up, we walk upright. We are breathing, pumping, flowing, sitting, walking miracles.
What are you grateful for in this moment?
What a wonderful blessing this morning to have a clear, crisp 54°! I enjoyed a walk with Jack in the stroller and I even made it up the hill without panting too much. I'm thankful that I can walk and breathe even if I have to think about it on those hills.
ReplyDeleteI'm so grateful that I'm on a new plan for healthy living. Not only have I lost over 14 pounds, but my feet no longer hurt, and I'm able to get a stroll in a few times a week! Working up to a mile, then 3, then who knows? And I'm always grateful for you - you push me to think about things I would normally take for granted! You are a blessing :)
ReplyDeleteI am grateful for another beautiful day inside and out. My 18 year old son was leaving for college and then ran back inside to give me a hug and say "love you mom and have a good day" My daughter came home from school all happy and talked nonstop about her day. Now that is a good day and it is only 4pm.
ReplyDeleteEnJOYed a wonderful lunch at the historical museum's log house. Delicious corn chowder in a perfect atomosphere!
ReplyDeleteThe very thing we talked about in our bedtime prayer time last night w/ our boys (12 and 8)...all the WONDERFUL things God has designed our bodies to do...I'm walking daily, too, and am amazed at how much I take for granted...LEGS that move, FEET and TOES that steady and balance me...wow...God, you are an Amazing God.
ReplyDeleteI'm very thankful and grateful that I still have my mom around, even though she has lots of health issues. Lord-willing I'm going to visit her in October, and I cherish each and every time I get to see her and spend time with her.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm thankful for such a beautiful fall-like evening.
Blessings to you and your family!

ReplyDeleteAt my age I am greatful to awaken to only minor pain and able to look forward to the blessed rain we are having which comes so seldom in our area.
ReplyDeleteI am grateful for the unexpected day at home. I showed up to volunteer on the wrong day! It's tomorrow!!! So I am back home. I am thankful for a brain that keeps track of all these things even though now and then it pulls up the wrong info!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am greatful that someone I don't know, have never met--(YOU Susan)is able to wake my senses up every morning by making me totally aware of things within me and in my life that are blessings I have been taking for granted without any thought at all!!
ReplyDeleteI'm SO grateful that, at this moment, my body is performing exactly as it was created to do - after having lung surgery to remove multiple blood clots and struggling to breathe, it is a real privilege to not have to think about it at all!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, fabulously grateful that my sister's test came back negative.
